Ángel Meléndez Córdoba
Founder & CEO, Pokta Labs
Ángel Meléndez Córdoba (Mel) is the founder and CEO of Pokta Labs. His entire career is healthcare technology: biomedical engineer, Clinical Engineer inside hospitals, Healthcare IT, and Solutions Architect at Telmex.
At Telmex he led the first Vendor Neutral Archive deployment in Mexico, supported EHR operations for 30 hospitals across Mexico City, ran cloud operations at INCMNSZ, and led the Farmacias Guadalajara SAP migration with 80% cost savings. He is an AWS Champion.
He builds Pokta Labs with Dr. Erick Zamora Tehozol, a practicing rheumatologist in Mérida, as medical advisor and clinical design partner.
